Winemakers notes:
2023 was a wet and cold vintage. The cooler season provided the opportunity to make a wine similar to a German Kabinett style. With 17g/L of residual sugar and driving acidity this wine sings like an Upper Mosel Riesling. The organically grown fruit, lovingly tended by Mary and Guy is a testament to the Mount Gambier region and I look forward to working with it in the future, demonstrating what can be achieved from this underestimated wine
region.
